Until recently many of the resorts and one-of-a-kind properties, offered through Roads Less Taken, provided free weddings when you spent a minimum number of nights at that property (see below for details of each property). Though today, nearly EVERYONE is charging a fee, these fees have been kept to a minimum and are VERY reasonable. Most resorts offer you a basic wedding package with any number of optional features available in advance of your arrival.

When booking your destination wedding we will make an exception to quoting airfares for only "5-nights or more".  Many couples wish to have family, friends and guests attend their wedding so Roads Less Taken will be happy to quote airfares for three nights or more from as many as ten additional originating departure cities.

Ladera takes care of all the details such as providing the witnesses, a photographer (optional extra), all legal requirements* and documents and transportation to and from Castries. *NOTE: Legal requirements dictate that couples must be on the island for three business days prior to the wedding.

The Essential Wedding, priced at $900, includes freshly cut flowers from St. Lucia's lush rainforest, a bouquet for the bride and the ceremony, which takes place on a balcony overlooking the Piton mountains and the glittering Caribbean Sea 1,000 feet below, and a wedding gift from us. The Deluxe Wedding priced at $1,150 includes everything the Essential Wedding offers plus a wedding cake and a romantic five-course dinner with champagne for the bride and groom. After the excitement of the wedding ceremony and reception, the newlyweds can escape to their intimate suite or villa, sip champagne in their private plunge pool and take in the picturesque view.
