MANDARA SPA
Inspired by European and Asian
cultures, the new Mandara Spa Atlantis fuses ancient Balinese
healing techniques and traditional therapies with natural elements
indigenous to The Bahamas. Lushly landscaped water gardens filled
with exotic fish and giant lilies line the walkway to the spa,
setting a serene tone for the indulgent experiences to come.
A glass bridge spans delicate waterfalls protected by towering
bamboo leading to the exquisite two-story, 30,000-square-foot spa
where a grand spiral staircase leads up to the unisex relaxation
lounge. Designed with natural elements of wood, stone and bamboo,
new therapy suites allow couples and friends to share the moment,
and new spa villas provide the ultimate environment for a full or
half-day of blissful pampering.
Exclusively for guests at The Cove Atlantis, Mandara Spa offers
indulgent services en-suite. Rejuvenating massage therapies,
facials, barber services and luxuriating bathing experiences,
complemented by a choice of ambient aroma and music

At the hands of expertly trained
therapists, enjoy a full complement of rejuvenating services in 37
individual treatment areas - from refreshing facials and exotic body
scrubs to indulgent, hours-long packaged ceremonies. The ideal
prelude to any treatment, the Taking of the Waters offers warm and
cold plunge pools, steam and sauna rooms, and showers in both the
women’s and men’s changing areas.
The separate women’s area features
a relaxing aromatherapy room, Asian showers, steam and sauna, cold
plunge pool and hot whirlpool, changing rooms, grooming areas and
private lockers.
Men are invited to treat themselves
to the spa’s exclusive Time for Men barber services. In their own
lounge, they enjoy a plasma TV, Asian showers, steam and sauna, cold
plunge pool and hot whirlpool, changing rooms, grooming areas and
private lockers.

The Salon features a master stylist
and a full range of services. Manicures feature The Cove Atlantis’
own custom polish, Cove Copper by Essie, and pedicure rooms have
banquettes in sets of three for a more intimate setting.

FITNESS CENTER
Mandara Spa’s recently expanded
Fitness Center features aerobic, pilates and yoga classes; a
personal TV and sound system with headphones on each of the new
cardio fitness machines; a four-lane lap pool; a new spinning studio
featuring nightclub cycling classes; personal training; wellness and
nutritional seminars; and, male/female steam chambers, showers and
lockers.
