Afternoon Tea The people of Barbados like to think of the island as "England in the tropics". In the tradition of the island's English heritage, resident guests of The Fairmont Royal Pavilion enjoy complimentary afternoon tea daily. Afternoon Tea is served in the exquisite setting of Palm Terrace Restaurant, overlooking the beach and the Caribbean Sea. A selection of caffeinated and herbal teas are available, including Earl Grey, Darjeeling, Peppermint and Chamomile. Scones with cream, jam and butter, cucumber sandwiches and a variety of pastries including pound cake, cookies, brownies, puff pastries, jam turnovers, fruit cakes and fruit bread are served to accompany tea.
