These days choosing your life
partner can be easier than deciding on where to get married or how
to spend your honeymoon. During this time of planning, you will be
flooded with options covering the four-corners of the globe and
opinions from all of your friends and family.
But when everyone has had their
say, remember you are preparing for one of the most important times
of your life. The choice of your wedding location and honeymoon has
to be yours and getting it right is a sure footing for the times
ahead.
Long Bay is a resort where the pace
of daytime entertainment is more along the lines of watching the
pelicans dive for fish off the beach, or of drifting laconically
through the pool to our swim-up bar. It is a perfect place to begin
your married life.
We can not offer you glass-bubbled
Cinderella carriages or marching bands with fanfares of trumpeters,
this is not our style. We do offer you is a very special environment
to make your marriage vows and a very special place for you to
celebrate afterwards.
Wedding ceremonies at Long Bay not including accommodations start at
$685. This price includes the services of a Justice of the Peace for
the ceremony, wedding cake and bottle of champagne, bridal bouquet
and groom buttonhole, and witness and decorated location. A
photographer is also included and the couple is presented with a
roll of 36-exposure color film to be processed on their return home.

Romance your partner and delight your guests
When you think that discovering new
places with your partner is always a very special event, beginning
your new life together in one is priceless.
Making your stay with us a very
memorable one is always our priority and our service extends to
providing you with the services of our Wedding Coordinator. Tell us
what you want and we will make it happen for you, and if you are not
sure (this may well be your first trip to our beautiful resort),
then let us offer some suggestions.
Delightful places to get married abound at Long Bay. For instance
the beach is exquisite for the sand between-your-toe's castaways.
For stunning views and no sand between your toes, we suggest one of
the small walkways with steps that lead onto the beach.
Many of our guests prefer a quiet
elopement-type wedding, sometimes just the couple, and at other
times with family and close friends. Others opt for more elaborate
and formal ceremonies. In the past we have flown 70 or more guests
in for the event.
To celebrate afterwards, you may
choose champagne on the beach whilst the photographer captures the
moment followed by a romantic gourmet candle-lit dinner for two in
the Garden Restaurant.
For larger occasions we can offer
you our beautiful banquet facility next to the Pelican Pool with
pre-dinner cocktails on the terrace and your own band to dance away
the night as they play your favorite selections.
Long Bay is more than a lovely
resort in a beautiful setting. We pride ourselves on the standards
of our cuisine with a delicious range local produce and
international fare. A large and eclectic selection of wines and
champagne are perfect to toast the occasion. |
