Wailea Water Ritual
A wonderful way to begin your spa experience in our private treatment
suite. Upon entering our secluded steam shower, you will find
exfoliating mitts and a luxurious coconut bath gel to use while
bathing under a rain shower. Then, slip into a deluxe whirlpool tub
while bath salts infused with aromatherapy oils melt away tension and
prepare you for your day at The Spa. (25 minutes) .
Wailea Water Experience
This experience also begins with a self-exfoliation in the steam
shower and a 10-minute soak in our deluxe whirlpool tub. Next comes
the added benefit of sinking down into the cocoon bed for the ultimate
in bodywork. (50 minutes) .
Wai Aulia (Graceful Flowing
Water)
Sinking down into the warm cocoon bed, you will be totally supported.
As you float weightlessly, you will be gently rocked, massaged and
stretched by our experienced therapists. Deeply relaxed, you will be
coaxed into suspending conscious thought, as rich moisturizing creams
nourish your skin. Cool scented towels are on hand to make this an

Wai Launa Iki (Water
Interlude)
Enjoy a relaxing soak in
our whirlpool tub, followed by wai aulia, a magical massage
created by one of our gifted therapists and performed while you are
submerged in a warm cocoon bed. Supported and floating weightlessly,
you will be transported to a place of deep relaxation. (80
minutes) .
Wai Huaka'i (Water Journey)
This journey begins with a relaxing soak in our whirlpool tub, in
waters enriched with tropically scented sea salt. Next, sink down into
a warm cocoon bed for the ultimate relaxing body wrap. Supported and
floating weightlessly, you will experience a deep sense of relaxation
while a hydrating lavender body butter nourishes your skin and works
wonders on a weary soul. One of our skilled therapists will massage
your neck, scalp and face with aromatic lotions and then assist you to
the rain shower where you (and your partner) will be left briefly to
rinse. You will then be escorted to the Quiet room and served a cool
beverage while your treatment suite is prepared for the last segment
of your journey, a 50-minute massage. (110 minutes) .
Exfoliation
Enjoy a full-body exfoliation with your choice of luxurious products,
varying in abrasiveness, followed by a warm, soothing rain rinse in
our overhead Vichy shower. Lastly, a rich, hydrating aromatic lotion
is applied. These treatments may be enjoyed in a 50-minute session, or
the massage portion of the treatment may be extended so that you
luxuriate in an 80-minute session. Choice of:
Mango Salt Glow – This vigorous exfoliation uses our unique mango
sorbet to stimulate circulation and soften rough, dry skin. It is
followed by an application of Pacific mango lotion, leaving your skin
smooth and silky.
Hawaiian Sea Salt with Sandalwood and Lavender Oils – One of our
coarsest scrubs, the Hawaiian Sea Salt scrub detoxifies and heals. An
uplifting and grounding application of sandalwood and lavender oils
follows this scrub.
Geranium and Grapeseed – These two combine to create an
invigorating polish, packed with protective antioxidants. The
exfoliation is followed by an application of Epicuren’s rich, deeply
hydrating geranium after-bath moisturizer.
Uplifting Essence of Mandarin Orange – This mildly abrasive scrub
is formulated with crushed apricot kernels. Finishing with a
refreshing application of Epicuren’s sweet orange blossom after-bath
moisturizer, the body treatment leaves you hydrated, revived and
re-energized.
Pineapple Papaya – Our most popular polish, this mildly abrasive
exfoliation is enhanced with fruit acids. The scrub finishes with an
application of lushly scented Epicuren pineapple papaya after-bath
moisturizer.
Tropical Lave – The mildest of all our body exfoliations uses a
silky body gel best for sensitive skin. Performed with scrubby gloves,
the scrub is followed by an application of Epicuren’s creamy coconut
and kukui after-bath moisturizer.

Lift and Tighten
Reduce the appearance of cellulite by using the stimulating effects of
three different types of caffeine to actively encourage circulatory
and lymphatic processes. This treatment will tone, lift and tighten

Ultimate Pampering
Ka Ma'ukele (Tropical Rainforest Wrap)
First, your skin will be gently exfoliated and buffed with a geranium
grapeseed scrub, soothing your senses with its therapeutic aroma. Then
you will be given a warm rinse in our overhead Vichy shower, before
being massaged and then wrapped with a rich propolis lotion containing
27 bioflavinoids and nutrients of the rainforest. The deeply
penetrating lotion contains olive oil and omega oils 3, 6 and 9, to
reduce fine lines, provide a smooth skin tone and heal minor
irritations and sunburn. While wrapped, you will enjoy a stimulating
scalp and hair treatment with a propolis conditioner. Hot towels seal
in the hydration as you receive a neck and face massage with a
soothing, balancing geranium lotion. This ultimate pampering session
is completed with a gentle misting of healing propolis spray and an

E Ola Hou (Hawaiian Healing Wrap)
An island tradition, this healing wrap begins with a tropical
pineapple papaya enzyme polish, to naturally exfoliate and soften the
skin. The body is then soothed with a healing gel of Hawaiian noni
and gently wrapped with warmed ti leaves. While wrapped,
experience a deeply hydrating hair treatment with warm coconut and
kukui oils and a warm-stone face massage with pineapple papaya
lotion. This lush ritual is completed with a deeply relaxing full-body
massage using pineapple papaya lotion. (110 minutes).
Ke 'Anuenue (The Rainbow)
A sign of great honour and respect given to royalty, the rainbow was
seen as a gift from the gods – their acknowledgement of the royal one.
The treatment begins with a gentle exfoliation using Hawaiian cane
sugar and macadamia nut oil, then continues with a very regal wrap of
warmed Hawaiian lehua honey and coconut/kukui oil. A
rain shower with coconut gel follows this imperial wrap, and last is a
moisturizing massage with orange blossom after-bath lotion. (110

Ultimate Foot Treatment
After a soothing soak in an orchid and sea salt bath, your feet are
gently buffed, exfoliated and moisturized with a revitalizing

Our signature massage, meaning “Song of Wailea,” captures the rhythm

Lomi Lomi
This traditional Hawaiian massage is a sacred healing art handed down
from generation to generation by the Kupuna (elders). The most
important aspect of Lomi Lomi is the intention to balance heart, mind,

using the forearms in long, connected, embracing strokes. A truly

Lomi Pohaku
Incorporating traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and original La Stone

Lomi Aumoa

Energy Therapies
Craniosacral
This subtle form of bodywork uses extremely gentle manipulation of the
craniosacral system, comprising the head, neck and spinal column. A
calming message is sent to the central nervous system through the
cerebrospinal fluid surrounding and protecting the brain and spinal
cord. (50 minutes)
Aquacranial
While you float in the ocean, subtle craniosacral manipulations
lengthen the spine and soothe the soul. As you are supported by the
ocean and securely held and guided by an adept therapist, aquacranial
allows for suspension of long-habituated muscle patterning. The sense
of weightlessness combined with the gentle rocking of the waves will
puts you in touch with your primordial connection with the sea. A

Reiki
A 2,500-year-old healing practice rediscovered by the Japanese, reiki
means “Universal Life Force Energy.” It is one of the more widely
known forms of healing, using a direct application of ki, or
life force energy. Ki is what Japanese mystics and martial
artists conceive of as the matrix from which the universe grows. Reiki
practitioners use their hands to channel energy from the universe to
your body, promoting self-healing. They believe that their treatments
can relieve pain, boost the immune system and relieve acute problems.
Reiki is deeply relaxing and recharging at the same time. (50 or 80

Jin Shin Do
Translated as “The Way of the Compassionate Spirit,” Jin Shin Do
facilitates an inner body/mind awareness. Our attitudes and thinking
create body postures and muscular tension patterns; body aches and
pains influence the way we think and feel. When one’s thoughts and
beliefs are out of sync with how one feels, the spirit suffers. Jin
Shin Do uses a traditional Japanese finger technique – gentle, firm,
consistent pressure on two acupoints simultaneously. When chi
(energy) flows smoothly, body and mind come into balance with each
other, one moves more easily through the realm of the emotions and the
spirit has the capacity for joy. (50 or 80 minutes)

This classic European style of massage involves long, rolling strokes
that ease muscle aches and tension. It promotes deep relaxation while

Ka Wahine Hapai (Prenatal)
A light massage, specially created for new and expectant mothers.
Recommended in the second and third trimester, this session focuses on
the comfort of the mother-to-be. Performed with you lying on your
side, with pillowed support, it is designed to nurture and honor you

Deep Tissue/Sports Massage
For the weekend warrior, a deeper massage focusing on specific trigger
points. It releases chronic muscle tension and aids in recovery from
activity-induced soreness. Using a blend of lemongrass, black pepper,
sage, coriander, fennel, juniper and cypress oils, this deeply
penetrating session will revive the warrior spirit in anyone. (50, 80,

Shiatsu
This ancient Japanese technique uses moderate to strong touch using
shi (finger) and atsu (pressure) to release blockages along
the body's energy pathways. The body is stimulated and balance is
restored. A T-shirt and shorts are recommended; the Spa reception can

Reflexology
The oldest known documentation depicting the practice of reflexology
was unearthed in Egypt, in the tomb of an Egyptian physician. It dates
to around 2500 BC. Thumb and finger pressure is applied to reflex
areas on the feet, causing the body’s self-healing potential to be
stimulated and physiological changes to take place. (50, 80 or 110
minutes)
Back Walk/Deep Barefoot Shiatsu
Back walk/deep barefoot shiatsu massage provides a thorough and deep
stretching of the muscles, releasing long-held tension and stress.
Using their feet, the therapist provides pressure along the body’s
meridians while balancing their body weight with a rope attached to
the wall. (50, 80 or 110 minutes)
Thai Massage
This 2,500-year-old healing tradition, performed on a floor mat, is
similar to that of assisted yoga. Thai massage adjusts and realigns
the body through a series of deep compressions, elongating stretches
and conscious breathing. A T-shirt and shorts are recommended; the Spa

Scalp Treatment
Add a scalp treatment to any massage, body treatment or facial. An
additional 15 minutes is added onto the treatment of your choice. Use

A stimulating rainforest propolis conditioner to invigorate the
scalp and heal the hair.
A tropical blend of warm coconut and kukui oils to add
luster and shine to sun-damaged hair.
Foot Treatment
Add a vigorous foot exfoliation that is completed with a hydrating
application of aromatic lotion. An additional 15 minutes is added onto

Uluweih Pala'au (Luscious Healing)

Alpha Omega Facial
