THE ROYAL in Playa del Carmen is located on the most beautiful stretch of powder-white sand beach in Playa del Carmen, recently expanded and protected by a natural breakwater, making it perfectly safe for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking or just lazing under the Caribbean sun on one of our canopied sun beds or cushioned lounge chairs.

The azure blue sea is bound to tempt you and entice you into its sparkling waters to frolic in the waves. The Caribbean Sea is a dream come true for water lovers.

To quench your thirst and hydrate your skin, we have a great staff of friendly waiters who will serve you any kind of drink, cocktail, juice or snack you might want, right on the beach.

Topless sunbathing is allowed at public beach areas; however, topless sunbathing is not allowed at the resort.

Pools
We feature two gigantic pools with your choice of activity level. You may choose to dive into our oceanfront activity pool with infinity edge, a swim-up bar and in-pool lounge chairs. Or you may decide that the alternative choice of a quieter, Olympic-size pool separated by a picturesque bridge, also with in-pool loungers, a 50 meter lap lane and two relaxing 8-person Jacuzzis, is just too inviting to pass up.
