A. HURRICANE POLICIES – INSURANCE – GUARANTEES What happens in case of a hurricane? Every resort is different – but – in general “hurricanes happen”, resorts know it, resorts protect your vacation or honeymoon investment. PLUS – our regular travel protection insurance ($79 to $89 per person) ALSO has a clause that protects you from severe weather which impedes your ability to travel to and/or stay at your selected destination. All in all, the travel industry has done a pretty good job in looking out for your vacation interests. While hurricanes are NO FUN … they usually don’t become a financial burden on our travelers. With hurricane season (the Caribbean and Mexico and USA) being from June 1 through November 30 most people end up traveling DURING hurricane season.
B. PRICE BEST PROMISE It doesn’t happen often, but every once in a while a competitor out does us – comes in a little less expensive than we have quoted … not any more. If it is one of the resorts we handle - if we can book it (as long as our wholesaler has the resort available), we will beat a competitor’s quote! We pledge to beat any verified quote by $10 per paying adult and $5 per paying child.
Who will we price beat? If you find a vacation package from another travel provider (excluding an auction site) at a lower price, The Roads Less Taken will beat the same package and price upon verification.*
When will we price beat? Anytime prior to full payment, if the price is available and we can book it we will beat it.
What do you need? All you need are the details of the quote, and the competitor’s name. Wherever possible a written quote will expedite the verification but if we can pull that quote up on the internet, that will work. Non-core products usually can not be price-matched. These are limited in number and include the following:
